Essential Requirements
• Preferable academic studies in Development, Economics, International Relations, Social Sciences (education, anthropology, sociology…) or Demography; a Master on Humanitarian Studies or African Studies an asset
• Previous working experience in Project Management (minimum 5 years) in community involvement/community development projects and/or information management
• Good knowledge of Minimum Humanitarian Standards (SPHERE) and Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
• Experience in camp management and camp coordination either in refugee or IDP context is an asset.
• Experience in information management, surveys and regular data collection is an asset.
• Previous experience in Mozambique context is an asset.
Language Proficient: Fluent in English and knowledge of Portuguese highly desirable
Required skills and experiences
•Excellent knowledge of Ms. Office packages
• Strong internal and external coordination and representation skills
• Strong capacity to work under-pressure
• Strong facilitation skills
• Experience in emergency projects
• Experience in M&E (also using ICT) and analysis of vulnerability
• Strong communication skills and cross-cultural sensitivity
• Willingness to travel within the country and in short notice.
