The ENTEG project is funded by the European Commission under INTERREG IPA CBC Greece – the Republic of North Macedonia within the Priority Axis 1 – Development and Support of Local Economy.

The main thematic objective of ENTEG is to promote employment, labour mobility and social and cultural inclusion across borders through, inter alia: integrating cross-border labour markets, including cross-border mobility; joint local employment initiatives; information and advisory services and joint training; gender equality; equal opportunities; integration of immigrants communities and vulnerable groups; investment in public employment services; and supporting investment in public health and social services.

The project approach is the Triple Helix (academia, state and business) which with the enhancement of entrepreneurial skills of graduates, can contribute to S.O.1.1 of the programme “Create employment opportunities for educated graduates by exploiting comparative advantages of the cross border area, preferably with the use of innovative tools and practices”.

Ruolo: Project manager

COSV is looking for a Project Assistant to support the administrative and programmatic management of the EU-funded ENTEG Project in North Macedonia. We are looking for a reliable, flexible and driven individual who is able to work both in a team group and independently. Under the supervision of the COSV Country Coordinator and in coordination with the project’s other consortium members based in Bitola, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager on donor regulation compliance, contracting, financial tracking, forecasting, reporting and administration of the overall project implementation. He/she will also work closely with the Country Coordinator and other team members of COSV to develop concept notes and other programme documentation.

This position will be based in Bitola, North Macedonia.

• Good knowledge of EU funding regulations.
• Substantial experience in costing and budgeting as well as financial management for development projects.
• Experience writing operational reports.
• Experience working on development projects in the areas of social inclusion of vulnerable groups, entrepreneurship and/or social entrepreneurship is not a requirement but a definite advantage.
• Experience liaising with North Macedonia Government agencies and state-owned enterprises an advantage.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with M&E is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and across time zones while maintaining close contact with the team, communicating transparently and proactively, and reliably adhering to timelines
