Job position: Project Manager

Location: Sierra Leone, Pujehun with missions in Kenema and Kailahun

Start date: August-September 2024 *

Duration: 12 months

Family duty station: YES

Purpose of the role

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing a project aimed at enhancing the access to clean cooking and improving the health conditions of vulnerable families, implementing health promotion activities and strengthening the local health system.

Key duties

• recruit and select project staff
  
• organize the distribution of efficient stoves for household use
  
• maintain relationships with local health authorities at all levels and with the civic society organisations involved in the project
  
• coordinate, supervise and monitor the proper implementation of project activities
  
• ensure the availability of project data and the timely elaboration of reports required by the donor
  
• ensure effective management of the project team and resources, including financial and material assets
  

Requisiti

• University Degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Economics or related fields
• Previous experience in project management in fragile countries and/or low resource settings
  
• Good knowledge of English
  
• Dynamism and flexibility
  
• Adaptability to live and work in rural contexts
